The inclusive cycling festival was held as part of the Strawberry 14/28 and 55 mile rides organised by the Friends of Histon and Impington Recreation Ground, on Sunday 3 September at Histon and Impington Recreation Ground.
Participants had the opportunity to try adapted bikes and cycle an inclusive route in the spirit of the organised cycle rides; there was also an opportunity for participants to try cycling in a safe environment with support from local cycling coaches from You Can Bike Too and Outspoken Cycling.
Both events started and finished at Histon and Impington Recreation Ground, with ice cream and refereshments at the finish!
This event was organised in partnership with the Friends of Histon and Impington Recreation Ground, You Can Bike Too and Outspoken cycling. We thank too Cala Homes for their generous financial support.
Our aspiration is to help develop a disability cycling hub in Cambridge. Power2inspire intends to work with partners over the forthcoming months to develop that vision.
